David Renard - Author of The Last Magazine, a visual anthology of the stylepress and a commentary on the future of printed periodicals. He co-created Stare, a publishing and advertising agency, more than seven years ago, producing magazines that included Stare and Critic Eye. This led to the creation of Netcirculation, the largest nationwide distribution network for high-end boutique fashion, art, photography, and design titles. From 1994 to 1998, he worked at Gartner Group, the foremost provider of research and analysis on the global IT industry, advising executives and board directors of Fortune 500 companies regarding the impact of technological innovations on the financial industry, and spearheading a new European subsidiary that developed research-driven decision support tools.
